Since its inception, Tucker Door & Trim has established itself as a reputable distributor and manufacturer specializing in doors, windows, and custom millwork tailored for the construction sector.

With a continually expanding fleet of tractor-trailers, we facilitate regular deliveries to wholesale clients across the Southeastern United States, encompassing states such as Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Maryland, and DC.

We are currently seeking qualified Class A CDL drivers to fill immediate openings within our organization, where many drivers have built enduring careers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport finished products and raw materials between manufacturing facilities and distribution centers.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles for mechanical and safety concerns, performing pre-trip, inter-trip, and post-trip evaluations.
  • Adhere to delivery schedules and ensure timely arrivals.
  • Maintain all required documentation for each transportation trip.
  • Follow truck driving regulations, including size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods.
  • Comply with Tucker Door & Trim's safety protocols and company policies.
  • Efficiently maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions.
  • Promptly report any defects, accidents, or violations encountered.

Essential Skills

  • A minimum of 18 months of verified truck driving experience within the last 36 months.
  • Proficient in using electronic equipment and software related to transportation.
  • No significant moving or driving violations in the past year.
  • At least 18 months of experience in commercial driving with a Class A license.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
