Tenneco is seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating machine tools and special purpose machines to fabricate metal work pieces to specifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Operate machine tools and special purpose machines to fabricate metal work pieces to specifications
* Inspect and measure machined work pieces to verify conformance to specifications
* Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
* Clean and maintain work area and equipment
REQUIREMENTS
* 1+ year of experience in metal fabrication or a related field
* Strong understanding of machine tools and special purpose machines
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
WORK ENVIRONMENT
* Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards
* Stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
