Job Summary

This position is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction using innovative technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Instruction: Deliver quality instruction in occupational therapy courses, utilizing integrative technologies as assigned.
  • Grading and Feedback: Post grades during the term for student feedback and submit final grades for each semester by the established deadline.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete required college trainings, submit required reports, and advise the program chair or dean as needed.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Regularly check email and respond to messages within 48 hours, and attend meetings as requested.
  • Syllabus and Curriculum: Submit class syllabus or update department syllabus at least two weeks prior to the first day of class.
Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution, COTA certification or registration as an OTR occupational therapist, evidence of licensure/certification, and evidence of clinical expertise in a related field are required.

Preferred Qualifications

Collegiate-level teaching experience and knowledge of various instructional delivery modes are preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Effective communication and collaboration skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to work cooperatively with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population are essential.
