Final Line Mechanic Senior

We are seeking a highly skilled Final Line Mechanic Senior to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and testing aircraft systems, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complex aircraft installations, repairs, and tests, requiring in-depth knowledge of all functions of components and systems.
- Manage all parts and disposition of parts in assigned work station, using proper documentation and control.
- Assist in developing and implementing process improvements and cycle time reductions.
- Coordinate work with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Responsible for quality and efficiency of own installations, making repairs as needed.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment to successfully complete component installation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and structural problems.
- Update and sign required logs and records.
- May be required to plan and organize workloads and resource requirements.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supporting the company's FOD and 5S programs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 7 years of aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience.
- 2 years of Gulfstream aircraft experience preferred.
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.
- Solumina and Smarteam experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
- Skilled in close tolerance work and knowledge of special tools.
- Ability to operate hydraulic mule pumps, fixtures, and jigs.
- Ability to use mathematical formulas to solve dimensional problems.
- Thorough knowledge of multiple measuring devices.
This position requires the ability to climb ladders and stairs, work in small-space restricted areas, and lift up to 50 lbs.
