We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Moses Cone Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our Registered Nurses and healthcare providers in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities- Collect patient history and medical information to provide complete case documentation in hospital medical records.
- Assist in developing and implementing care plans as directed by the Registered Nurse or healthcare provider to serve patient needs.
- Ensure proper techniques and safety precautions are taken in accordance with Cone Health policies around sterile environments.
- Communicate healthcare instructions to patients and families in a clear and concise manner.
- Respond to emergencies and safety hazards by utilizing personal protective equipment and hospital precautions.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Diploma in Practical Nursing; Completion of Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) required within 4 years of hire.
- Current LPN license in North Carolina; BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider certification.
