About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Beaumont Home Health and Hospice. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients in their homes, helping them to regain independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care for patients, focusing on occupational therapy goals and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Provide skilled occupational therapy services, including exercises, activities, and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, participating in ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one year of experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting, with home care experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
