Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool team at HCA Florida Largo Hospital. As a critical care nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in our critical care environments, utilizing your clinical expertise to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of Critical Care level patients.
  • Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
  • Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
  • Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
Requirements
  • Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
  • Current American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
  • Current NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) required.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
