As an FAA Part 135 Operator, we maintain a fleet of over 17 aircraft, focusing on specialized mission flights, including critical medical transport.
Current Opportunities
We are seeking qualified Pilots in Command for our Learjet fleet based in Cleveland, OH.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist medical personnel with the safe handling of critical care patients.
- Review and prepare for flight missions to ensure operational safety and effectiveness.
- Adhere to the company’s General Operations Manual (GOM) and FAA Part 135 regulations.
- Engage in safety and training sessions with medical teams to enhance operational protocols.
- Participate in regular meetings with the Flight Department and Maintenance Manager.
- Prepare the aircraft for daily operations, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for missions.
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust plans accordingly.
- Complete all pre-flight tasks, including weather assessments and weight calculations.
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Foster respectful interactions with clients, medical teams, and colleagues.
- Exhibit leadership and teamwork in all operational activities.
- Understand and execute complex aviation procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and maintain relevant certifications.
- Collaborate with the Program Manager and client representatives on training and industry initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Preferred Type Rating in Learjet.
- Must possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
- Bachelor's degree in Management or Aviation is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of FAA regulations, particularly CFR Part 135.
- Participation in a DOT Drug Testing Program.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
- No history of FAA violations or accidents.
- Valid driver's license.
- Minimum of 1,000 hours of total pilot experience in fixed-wing aircraft.
- Experience with Premier I/IA or Lear 31 aircraft.
- First-Class Medical Certification.
- Current U.S. Passport.
- Experience in air carrier operations with turbojet aircraft or as part of a two-person crew.
- Experience in FAA Part 135 operations or as a Flight Instructor.
- Physical ability to lift 75 lbs.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong cockpit resource management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- Problem-solving skills for technical issues.
- Comprehensive understanding of aircraft systems and operational limitations.
- Thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR).
- Previous experience in Part 135 operations is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to reside or relocate within a reasonable distance from the operational base.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
