Job SummaryThe Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling subassemblies and parts of sealed switches by hand and hand tools. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work from drawings, blueprints, sketches, verbal or written instruction, work orders, and process sheets.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble subassemblies and parts of sealed switches
- Maintain records and other pertinent data as instructed or required
- Report defective materials or any other unusual condition or circumstance to supervisor immediately
- Maintain personal production and quality standards as determined by supervisor
- Follow standard practices and procedures as outlined by policy
- Follow all safety regulations
- Maintain area in a clean and orderly condition
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 1-3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Must have reasonable dexterity in hands to manipulate small parts
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
