Job Overview

Centurion Forensic Health Services is proud to partner with the Connecticut Judicial Branch to provide community-based forensic and mental health services. We are seeking a full-time Intervention Specialist to join our team at the Stamford Alternative in the Community office.

Key Responsibilities

The Intervention Specialist (IS)/Case Manager will prepare, plan, facilitate group sessions using curriculum-based interventions, and enhance client ability in concrete problem-solving. This role is also responsible for maintaining all aspects of documentation and data tracking consistent with quality assurance expectations.

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 3 years' experience in social services, criminal justice, or a related field.
  • Experience with individual and group facilitation and group dynamics.
  • Education may be substituted with experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Strong communication and engagement skills.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Working Conditions

Available shift: Monday-Friday, 3 days/week 8:30am-5:00pm and 2 days/week 11:30am-8:00pm.
