The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling from an accredited program, as well as current licensure to practice in the state of employment. A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate counseling and crisis intervention services, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral issues in patients.
• Collaborate with family members and/or support systems on treatment plans and discharge planning.
• Communicate patient progress, concerns, and potential issues to physicians.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including clinical and progress notes, according to department policy.
• Work with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans, including discharge plans, based on psychosocial assessments and recognized social work interventions.

Requirements

• Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling from an accredited program.
• Current license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) to practice in the state of employment.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficient in the use of electronic medical records and related technology.
