Job Description

The Sales Leader role involves driving operations on the sales floor and in the stockroom, while assisting in training associates to deliver a great in-store shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and motivate associates to maximize sales potential
  2. Provide coaching/training to store associates on efficient and effective floor operations, customer service, coverage, stockroom management, and execution of standards
  3. Partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance
  4. Train associates on store operations, product, policy, and procedures
  5. Execute action plans that optimize results
  6. Oversee daily store operations
  7. Ensure appropriate associate coverage to create a great customer experience
  8. Authorize checkout experiences
  9. Assist with merchandise flow, such as shipment, replenishment, omni-channel operations
  10. Monitor and analyze customer service provided by team members
  11. Build an effective schedule with the right associate in the right place at the right time
  12. Promote and support an environment focused on delivering great in-store customer experiences
  13. Resolve customer service issues effectively
  14. Lead and model our customer experience model
  15. Display expert knowledge of product, company policies, promotions, loyalty programs
  16. Provide leadership and assistance with product launches, window changes, visual presentation standards, signage placement

Requirements

  • High School or Equivalent education
  • 1 year of experience in retail
  • Proficient in using technology (iPad, registers)
  • Meets defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours
  • Meets physical requirements
