Position Overview:
As a Biomedical Technician 2, you will be responsible for addressing service requests to assess, diagnose, and execute repairs and scheduled maintenance on increasingly sophisticated biomedical devices, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and troubleshoot intricate problems with biomedical devices, executing necessary repairs.
- Perform scheduled maintenance (PM), conduct safety evaluations, and foster positive relationships with clients.
- Offer insights on company policies, hospital procedures, and ensure all documentation is accurately completed.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients to guarantee prompt resolution of issues and improve customer satisfaction.
- Implement contracts in alignment with company and client objectives.
- Mentor and assist junior technicians in addressing both basic and complex equipment challenges.
- Work cohesively within a local team to provide efficient service across all assigned accounts.
- Participate in on-call duties as required.
- Document all maintenance activities and submit necessary reports.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and testing equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and calibration.
- Supervise vendor service delivery in accordance with company policies.

Stay updated on current standards, regulations, and procedures for the safe operation of medical devices through continuous training.

May assume the role of Site Leader, overseeing the activities of Biomedical Technicians at the site and engaging with clients for comprehensive account management.

- Comply with regulatory standards related to Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety, and other relevant regulations.
Qualifications:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline, along with 2+ years of experience in servicing medical equipment; OR equivalent military training and 2+ years of experience in electrical or mechanical equipment maintenance; OR High School Diploma/GED with 4+ years of experience in medical equipment servicing.

Possess strong analytical and communication skills to clearly articulate technical issues to clients.

Physical Requirements:
- Capability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 lbs. without assistance, and perform various physical tasks for extended durations.
- Specific vision abilities required include color vision, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
- Willingness to work after hours or participate in a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends, as necessary.
Quality Assurance Goals:

Adhere to the Quality Manual, Quality Management System, and applicable laws and regulations.

- Complete all mandatory Quality and Compliance training within designated timeframes.
- Promptly report any quality or compliance concerns raised by clients.
