Job Summary

We are seeking a part-time hospitalist physician to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Anderson, Indiana. As a hospitalist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills, coordinating discharge planning with case management, and participating in academic programs such as medical education and research.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills
  • Coordinate discharge planning with case management
  • Participate in academic programs such as medical education and research
  • Accept patient referrals from other physicians
  • Act as admitting, attending, and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses
Requirements
  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board
  • Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required
