Job Overview

BoomZeal Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Restoration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing unparalleled property damage restoration experiences to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • First Responder: Respond to job leads by calling, scheduling, and meeting with property owners to assess the damage they need restored.
  • Crew Chief: Perform mitigation and remediation labor as a senior technician.
  • Client Liaison: Lead clients through the insurance claims filing process utilizing industry knowledge.
  • Project Manager: Secure the signed job contract for UWR-LI and take a leading role in executing clean-up to the highest standard of care.
  • Estimator: Estimate each loss by scoping and sketching with great attention to detail.
  • Team Leader: Manage all assigned projects daily, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders.
  • Adjuster Liaison: Work closely with adjusters and claims reps to ensure coverage and negotiate invoices.
  • Training and Development: Hire, train, coach, and develop field technicians.
  • Documentation: Assure timely, detailed, and accurate documentation of project scope, notes, and pictures using software system of record.
  • Problem Solver: Resolve any complex challenges or escalated situations that arise from daily operations.
Requirements
  • Safety-First Mindset: Possess a safety-first mindset and OSHA certification is preferred.
  • Field Experience: Have 3 years of field experience in the Restoration or Construction Industry.
  • Supervisory Experience: Have 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Certifications: Possess IICRC WRT & FSRT Certifications and NYS DOL Mold Supervisor License.
  • Technical Skills: Be tech-savvy with email, mobile apps, computer, tablet, and smart phones.
  • Industry Knowledge: Be familiar with all industry standards and local regulations that may affect jobs.
  • Xactimate Software: Have experience with Xactimate software.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Climbing: Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and work in tight spaces.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
  • Chemical Exposure: Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals.
  • Travel: Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary.
