About the Role

Uline is seeking an Electrical Construction Manager to oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems in our facilities. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction techniques, and building codes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain electrical system standards to ensure compliance with Uline requirements and industry codes.
  • Specify and procure electrical equipment, including emergency generators and lighting systems.
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring they meet design intent and Uline standards.
  • Review subcontractor change orders and ensure they meet Uline's requirements.
  • Collaborate with third-party design engineers on construction projects and resolve any issues that arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in electrical system design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of construction techniques, HVAC, electrical, and fire systems.
  • Familiarity with building, fire life safety, ADA, and other applicable codes.
