Job Summary

RNDC is seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver products by bottle, case, or pallet from the delivery truck to the customer's account by hand truck.
  • Safely operate a commercial vehicle and conduct pre and post-trip inspections, noting any vehicle defects.
  • Make an average of 20 timely deliveries a day, with the potential to deliver to more accounts during high-volume seasons.
  • Verify receipt of correct orders with customers, checking product against invoices and obtaining signatures and payment as necessary.
  • Ensure the physical security of the truck at all times.
  • Provide regular feedback to management on route changes, concerns, and areas of opportunity.
  • Comply with DOT hours of service rules and regulations for your license type.
  • May utilize a smartphone for interaction with hours of service software, point of delivery invoicing, and/or driver monitoring programs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, with two years of delivery experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Current State driver's license, with the ability to meet company vehicle insurance requirements.
  • Valid DOT medical certification card and ability to file with the state Motor Vehicle Department.
  • Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3+ years of driving experience.
  • Previous experience in the Wine and Spirits industry.
  • Forklift certification.
