At Ernest Health, we provide critical care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our hospital has earned The Joint Commission's Respiratory Failure Certification. We care for patients with medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. Our team of passionate patient caregivers is dedicated to ensuring that each person in our care feels safe and receives top-quality care at the bedside.
We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients within our assigned unit. The role is responsible for patient assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations designed to prevent complications of physical disability, restore optimal functioning, and help the patient adapt to an altered lifestyle.
Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care to patients within assigned unit
Conduct patient assessments, planning, supervising, interventions, and evaluations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
Successful completion of accredited Registered Nursing program required
Current state license as a Registered Nurse required
Current CPR Certification required
One (1) year recent experience preferred in acute care setting
ACLS certification preferred in LTACH and Texas hospitals
