Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Inc. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with sales and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Serve Customers: Greet every customer with a smile and provide a positive shopping experience by answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Manage Cash Register Transactions: Accurately and efficiently process sales transactions, handle customer payments, and maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Merchandising and Store Maintenance: Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure that all products are properly displayed and priced.
  • Assist with Sales and Inventory Management: Assist with sales and inventory management tasks, including counting inventory, processing returns, and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to Work a Flexible Schedule: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive Attitude and Team Player: A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team are essential.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Pushing and Pulling: Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
