The Recreational Therapist is a vital member of our interdisciplinary team at Lifepoint Behavioral Health, responsible for delivering therapeutic recreational assessments, recommendations, and interventions to patients of various ages and backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and implement group and individual sessions for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric adults.
- Document group and individual sessions, as well as complete Activity/Recreational Therapy assessments.
- Develop and assist with programming outside of normal group hours for special events.
- Maintain and order appropriate materials and supplies for interventions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Therapeutic Recreation, or related field.
- Minimum one year of experience providing direct individual or group therapeutic services.
- Certified Recreation Therapist.
