  • Ensure a safe care environment for patients, families, and staff through proactive rounding practices.
  • Promote a culture of reporting and appropriate follow-up on incidents and near misses.
  • Oversee the hiring, onboarding, evaluation, training, and development of staff members.
  • Invest in the professional growth of team members through career mapping and planning for ongoing development and advancement.
  • Manage departmental expenses and resource allocation to meet budgetary and productivity targets.
  • Assist in the timely completion of patient care processes, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring, data collection, and audits to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Lead and engage in performance improvement initiatives, proactively identifying risks and safety concerns.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required; a Master's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.

Certifications:
Must possess a certification specific to the patient population and a valid RN License (AR or Compact State) issued by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
