**About the Job:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Pulmonologist to join our team at the VA Amarillo Health Care System in Amarillo, Texas. As a Pulmonologist with the Veterans Affairs, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our nation's veterans.

**Job Description:)

The ideal candidate will have expertise in evaluating and treating patients with respiratory disorders, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other pulmonary conditions. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

In addition to your clinical skills, you will also have the opportunity to participate in education and research activities, helping to advance the field of pulmonary medicine and improve patient outcomes.

**Requirements:)

To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  1. Be a board-certified or board-eligible physician in pulmonary medicine;
  2. Have completed a residency program in internal medicine or a related field;
  3. Hold a valid medical license in any state or territory of the United States;
  4. Pass a background check and obtain a security clearance;
  5. Be proficient in spoken and written English.

**Salary and Benefits:**

This position comes with a competitive salary range of **$320,000 - $500,000 per year**, depending on experience and qualifications.
