Telecommunications Laborer

Southeast Utilities of Georgia, a Congruex Company, is seeking a skilled Ground Hand to join our construction team in Jacksonville, FL. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for advancement and increased pay with on-the-job training.

• Assist Linemen in loading, unloading, layout, and preparing tools/supplies/equipment/materials needed at each job site.
• Perform manual labor type tasks as directed by the Lineman, Foreman, or Supervisor such as cleaning truck, digging ditches, tamping, cutting brush, and moving materials.
• Ensure Traffic Control and Safe Operations are maintained.
• Drive a company-provided vehicle from the yard to the job site and back.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to take direction and instruction from supervisors.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing 40 to 90 pounds.
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl while performing work.
• Valid Class A Driver's License preferred.

• Estimated salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on skills and experience.
