Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Development: Participate in the design of highly performing, scalable, and secure software solutions using Java 11 and other relevant technologies.
  • Application Development: Primary responsibility is the development of next-generation clearing applications for business requirements in an agreed architecture framework and Agile environment.
  • Software Quality Assurance: Thoroughly analyze requirements, develop, test, and document software quality to ensure proper implementation.
  • Code Reviews and Testing: Participate in code reviews based on high engineering standards and write unit and integration tests based on chosen test frameworks.
  • Production Support: Assist Production Support by providing advice on system functionality and fixes as required.

Qualifications

  • Education: BS degree in Computer Science or similar technical field required; Masters preferred.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in building large-scale, compute, and event-driven solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in Java 11+, Golang, Object-Oriented Designs, advanced patterns (like AOP), and multi-threading is required. Experience with distributed message brokers like Kafka, IBM MQ, Amazon Kinesis, etc. is desirable.
  • Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud technologies and migrations, including AWS foundational services like VPCs, Security groups, EC2, RDS, S3 ACLs, KMS, AWS CLI, and IAM.
  • Testing and DevOps: Experience with testing frameworks like Junit, Citrus, and DevOps tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and CI/CD pipeline.
  • Database Management: Experience working with various types of databases like Relational, NoSQL, Object-based, Graph.
  • Git and Agile: Experience following Git workflows and working in an Agile environment.
