Job Title: Inventory Allocation Specialist

At Duluth Trading Company, we're seeking a highly skilled Inventory Allocation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the creation, management, and execution of allocation and replenishment strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement allocation and replenishment strategies for assigned merchandise categories across all retail locations
  • Manage the flow of inventory throughout the product life cycle from initial allocation to daily replenishment review
  • Analyze and identify selling trends to maximize selling potential and minimize risk to inventory objectives and profitability
  • Develop and maintain weekly and ad-hoc reports to analyze and react to store-level inventory needs
  • Identify and implement strategies to support inventory levels for key promotional and peak selling periods
  • Evaluate and maximize system capabilities to enhance allocation/replenishment tools and effectiveness
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (equivalent work experience considered)
  • Financial and business acumen with ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information
  • Problem-solving and decision-quality skills with ability to use logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
  • Influencing and negotiation skills with ability to present ideas and directions that lead and influence others to action
  • Systems and tools acumen with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and aptitude to learn multiple inventory applications
  • Collaboration skills with ability to build constructive and effective relationships with cross-functional partners
