Housekeeping Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at UNC Health Southeastern. As a key member of our Environmental Services team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

• Perform daily routine cleaning tasks in all areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, and public spaces.
• Use approved infection control processes and chemicals to sanitize surfaces, fixtures, and equipment.
• Restock paper supplies, hand soap, and other essential items as needed.
• Work effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare staff to ensure a positive experience.
• Follow written instructions, including MSDS sheets, policies, and procedures, to ensure a safe and healthy environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions.
• Must be teachable and willing to follow directions with flexibility to report to any area assigned.
• Preferred: 1-3 years of experience in the institutional professional cleaning field.
