About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Municipal Water/Wastewater Team in Tampa, FL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering public sector water and wastewater facility planning and design projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project management and coordination with project managers and design teams
  • Preparation of assessment and design reports, performing design calculations, and equipment sizing/selection
  • Preparation of construction documents and support of construction management/commissioning needs
  • Field work and site visits from planning through construction and commissioning
  • Occasional travel and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering (Masters Degree Preferred) or Equivalent Degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • PE License in Florida or ability to gain reciprocity
  • 5-10+ years of experience in planning and design of Water and/or Wastewater-related projects
  • Project management experience and ability to estimate workload and develop schedules
  • Proficient in standard software platforms AutoCAD/Civil 3D Bluebeam Microsoft Office Suite. Revit & GIS is a Plus
Qualifications
  • Experience delivering Water and/or Wastewater Facility projects from Preliminary Design through Construction
  • Experience serving as Project Manager for Water/Wastewater Facility projects
  • Experience communicating and coordinating with clients
  • Experience supporting proposal preparation, participating in interviews, and mentoring junior & technical staff
