About the Role

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Neuro Acute Epilepsy Monitoring Specialist to join our team at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center. As a member of our Neuro Acute & Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care to patients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal injuries, brain tumors, spine surgeries, stroke, migraine, and epilepsy.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Participate in unit and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs for patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in neurological care and incorporate evidence-based practices into daily care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • AZ RN license.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification.
  • Preferred: BSN, professional certification in area of specialty, and one year recent acute care experience.
