We are seeking a skilled Experienced Tax Professional to join our team at Jackson Hewitt - 3345. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in providing expert guidance and support to our clients.

About the Role

This is a seasonal position that requires a high level of expertise in tax preparation, audit support, and customer service. You will be responsible for conducting face-to-face tax interviews, generating business growth, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients to understand their tax needs and provide expert guidance.
  • Prepare and complete accurate tax-related forms, including multiyear, multistate, and year-end tax forms.
  • Provide clients with IRS audit support and answer tax-related questions in a timely fashion.
  • Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
  • Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
  • Mentor and support teammates, providing guidance and in some cases acting as a lead.
Requirements
  • 2+ seasons of previous tax experience.
  • Experience completing individual, trust, &/or partnership tax returns.
  • Passion for providing extraordinary customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Successful completion of the Jackson Hewitt Tax Knowledge Assessment.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
