We are seeking a compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist 2 to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network. This role is perfect for individuals who share our mission of providing person-centered services and supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. You will work closely with clients to develop personalized plans, provide daily support, and advocate on their behalf.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to promote independence and quality of life.
  • Provide emotional support and advocacy for clients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A minimum of 1 year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required, along with a High School diploma or equivalent.
