Key Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive maintenance and general cleaning in guest accommodations and throughout the property to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and repair.
- Utilize General Clean and Preventive Maintenance (GC/PM) checklists effectively.
- Document and log all maintenance work performed, ensuring proper storage of files and reports.
- Monitor and assess progress and outcomes through established control systems.
- Address guest and staff requests and complaints promptly and efficiently.
- Adhere to all hotel and governmental operational procedures.
- Report any safety hazards to management immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to complete necessary tasks, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Meetings regularly.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and fulfill daily responsibilities.
- Complete maintenance work orders in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a maintenance role.
- Comprehensive understanding of emergency procedures.
- Ability to manage time effectively to complete daily tasks as per schedule.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Physical capability to operate necessary equipment and perform maintenance duties, including lifting and moving heavy items.
- Consistent attendance and reliability.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
