ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare, cook, and combine ingredients according to established recipes for packaging purposes.
- Adhere to processes and standards set by the quality assurance team.
- Guarantee timely and accurate production of batches for efficient packaging.
- Lead and execute Cleaning in Place (CIP) and Cleaning Out of Place (COP) procedures.
- Safely operate all necessary equipment for each production stage, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
- Follow precise formulas to ensure product consistency.
- Oversee and manage pre-measured ingredients.
- Coordinate with other department leaders to adjust batch schedules as required.
- Conduct tests and monitor production processes for quality assurance.
- Collaborate with the Quality team to evaluate sample products.
- Communicate any issues or challenges with batches that may impact production timelines.
- Work closely with maintenance teams to address mechanical issues and ensure timely submission of work orders.
- Uphold product safety by strictly following sanitation and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs (physically demanding role).
- Proficient in reading and writing in English.
- Basic mathematical skills are essential.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
