Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team at Christus Health. As a clinical practitioner, you will coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care.

About the Role

This position requires a graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing. You must hold a current New Mexico RN license or a current Compact state license. Additionally, you will need BLS Certification required within 2 weeks of hire date, and all other required certifications must be obtained within 6 months of hire date. If you have the required certifications at time of hire, you must maintain them and will not have a grace period to renew.

About Our Team

You will work in a clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment. This role involves exposure to infectious diseases and x-rays. You will also be responsible for handling emergency/crisis situations, prolonged, extensive or considerable standing and walking, heavy physical effort to position, push and/or transfer patients or equipment and supplies, and considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling and crouching.

Working Conditions

The working hours are varied, with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies. The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
