Job Overview

Position: Unloader I - Full Time AM Shift

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

COSTA SOLUTIONS LLC is actively seeking skilled individuals to fill various unloading roles. Our organization specializes in unloading, sanitation, and general labor services for a well-known local enterprise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Unloader, you will be responsible for:

  • Safely unloading trailers that deliver products to our distribution centers.
  • Utilizing powered industrial equipment, including electric pallet jacks and forklifts, to efficiently remove products from trailers.
  • Breaking down pallets and restacking cases onto new pallets as necessary.
  • Performing duties in a warehouse environment that requires physical stamina.
  • Maintaining productivity and safety standards while working in a fast-paced setting.

Training on equipment will be provided.

QUALIFICATIONS:
While prior experience in receiving or unloading within a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred, it is not mandatory. The following skills are essential:

  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 80 lbs.
  • Capability to work in various dock conditions, including dry, refrigerated, and frozen.
  • Willingness to commit to an 8-to-10-hour shift.

All unloaders are expected to perform their duties safely and effectively. Please note that steel toe safety shoes are required for this position.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience with:

  • Forklifts (Sit Down / Stand-Up)
  • Electric Pallet Jacks

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening is necessary.
- Candidates must pass a background check, with job offers contingent upon this requirement.
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical requirements include the ability to bend and stoop frequently throughout the shift.
