Responsibilities- Prep and administer medications to patients and residents in a safe and timely manner
- Supervise residents' self-administration of medications, providing reminders as needed
- Verify the right person, drug, dose, route, and time against the Medication Administration Record (MAR)
- Document interventions, vital signs, or other data related to medication administration
- Maintain confidentiality of residents' information
- Report any issues or concerns to the supervising nurse
- Assist residents with activities of daily life (ADLs)
- Current Maryland Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent (minimum)
- Applicable state nursing assistant certification (CNA/LNA/STNA)
- At least one year of experience as a nursing assistant (or related role)
- Understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
- Competitive hourly pay rate: $23-$39
