Puyenpa Services LLC is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. As a key member of our facilities contract at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating and cooling systems.

• Install and repair heating and cooling systems, including split systems, package units, air cooled chillers, and chilled water systems.
• Perform complex modifications of systems and components in accordance with electrical publications and directives.
• Maintain and repair specialized laboratory equipment, including fume hoods, deionized water systems, and vacuum systems.

• U.S. Citizen
• SECRET level Security Clearance or the ability to receive one
• Minimum of five years of experience in troubleshooting and maintaining commercial building/plant HVAC systems and their related equipment
• EPA certification (universal)
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
• Knowledge of refrigeration cycles, including identifying components, understanding how each component works, and diagnosing and correcting problems
• Ability to troubleshoot advanced electrical circuits and use multi-meters to read voltage, current, and resistance values
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and advanced heat load/loss calculations

• Ability to lift and/or carry moderate weight, sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, reach, and perform repetitive hand motions
• Regularly assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned and communicating verbally, electronically, and in physical written form up and down the chain of command
