Ironworker Foreman

Overview

MasTec Industrial is seeking an experienced Ironworker Foreman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for directing and supervising a crew in planning, layout, installation, and alignment of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the efforts of journeyman and craftsmen under your supervision.
• Plan and coordinate the work of the crew to ensure safe, productive, and efficient completion of projects.
• Work with other crafts and project supervision as needed.
• Identify and mitigate safety hazards, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and follow the Mastec planning/JSA process.
• Support and perform additional safety practices, including supervisor audits and craft observations.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• NCCER Certification/License (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role.

Working Conditions:

• Work up to 12-hour shifts in varying temperatures and outside conditions.
• May need to maintain physical strength and stamina, and wear personal protective equipment.
