At AMN Healthcare, we're partnering with a reputable school district in Danville, Illinois to find a skilled Speech Language Therapist. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide comprehensive speech and language services that support academic and social development.
The successful candidate will conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students. They'll develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) with goals for students with speech and language needs. Direct therapy services will be provided to students in individual and group settings, with progress monitored and documented accordingly.
This role also involves providing training and resources to teachers and staff on effective strategies to integrate speech therapy goals into the classroom environment. Competitive pay rates are offered, along with a generous package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life insurance, and more.
Salary Estimate: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience
Required Qualifications- Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
- State License is Required to Start the Assignment
- Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Support Personnel Endorsement
