We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to join our team at Right at Home - Peninsula. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing non-medical support to seniors and older adults in their own homes.
Responsibilities:
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging them in activities and conversations to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
- Transportation: Safely transport clients to and from appointments, errands, and activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming, maintaining their personal hygiene and dignity.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and organizing, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
- Medication Management: Assist clients with medication management, ensuring they take their medications as prescribed.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, preventing falls and other accidents.
Requirements:
- Age: 18 years or older.
- Vehicle: Regular access to a vehicle for transportation to and from client locations.
- Background Check: Pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications or training.
