Job Overview

Enfabrica is seeking a highly skilled Principal Customer Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our customer-facing team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customers, ensuring their success with our products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical pre-sales support to customers, including presenting Enfabrica products and solutions, gathering customer requirements and expectations, and developing supporting engineering collateral.
  • Architect and deploy scalable solutions, working closely with Enfabrica and customer engineering teams.
  • Provide post-deployment support, including troubleshooting and performance tuning of large-scale DC/HPC/AI/ML cluster deployments.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their technical needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data center and AI/ML/HPC networking technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive customer success.
Requirements
  • Fluency in Data Center and AI/ML/HPC networking technologies.
  • Knowledge of RDMA technologies and architectures.
  • Experience in bring up, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of large-scale DC/HPC/AI/ML cluster deployments.
  • Good understanding of NIC and switch architectures.
  • Experience with kernel and user-space networking software stacks.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.).
  • Familiarity with collective communication libraries (NCCL/RCCL).
  • Ability to operate at the ASIC, system, and application levels.
  • Self-starter with good technical judgment, able to drive next actions and customer outcomes with minimal guidance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to speak confidently in front of small and large audiences.
  • Ability to create customer-facing documents, debug, and monitoring tools.
  • At least 3 years of ASIC/Software/system development experience and at least 5 years of customer-facing experience.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations on a periodic basis.
