Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with ER physicians and mid-level providers to communicate changes in patient status, symptomology, and diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency care to patients with various medical conditions.
- Safely and accurately triage patients based on their physical and psychosocial needs.
- Communicate patient updates with ER physicians, mid-level providers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition or treatment response.
- Give direction to emergency department techs, registration staff, and allied health staff.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program (required).
- Bachelors in Nursing and Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) (preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of ER experience (required).
- Current RN license in the State of Montana (required).
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.
- Strong understanding of emergency department nursing principles and procedures.
- Basic computer and office skills.
- Proficiency in IV skills and operation of medical equipment.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
