About the Role
As a Critical Care Nurse with TotalMed, you will provide specialized care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Your expertise will be essential in assessing, monitoring, and managing patients' conditions, collaborating with the ICU team to deliver optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing advanced interventions as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment options, and care plans to promote optimal recovery and patient empowerment.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current RN license
- BLS certification
- Two years of recent ICU RN experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
