Clientele: Diverse groups of children and adults facing various communication disorders, including issues with language comprehension, expression, articulation, non-verbal communication, fluency, oral motor functions, and voice quality.

Key Responsibilities:
The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for conducting thorough evaluations to identify clients' speech therapy needs. They will develop and implement tailored treatment plans in alignment with the standards set by the professional Services Board of the American Speech and Hearing Association. Continuous professional development through education, research, and program enhancement is essential.

Core Duties:
  • Assessment:
    • Conduct comprehensive evaluations based on client referrals.
    • Utilize extensive knowledge of assessment tools to determine client needs.
    • Gather complete background information through interviews and pre-assessment checklists.
    • Incorporate medical history to aid in accurate diagnosis.
    • Provide clear conclusions and recommendations based on integrated evaluation data.
    • Use assessment results to establish therapy objectives and follow-up plans.
    • Regularly reassess client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence or relevant certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Registration with the appropriate state licensing board.
  • Physical capability to assist clients with mobility challenges.
  • Ability to travel to various service locations.
