We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during interventional procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies
- Record and monitor cases, including hemodynamic measurements and readings
- Administer contrast media according to age/weight specific guidelines
- Set up sterile trays and maintain a sterile field, according to hospital protocol
- Scrub and assist interventional physicians during procedures
- Start and maintain IV access
- Accurately follow physician orders and document completion of exams in Meditech
- Current license or registry of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and licensed through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered Radiologic Technologist [RT(R)]
- BLS required
- Completion of ACLS training within 6 months of hire
- Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patients, guests, physicians, and other employees
- Minimum of 1 year of IR experience preferred
