Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at WK Kellogg Co. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in our state-of-the-art facility. You will work closely with our Operations, Quality Food Safety, and Environmental Health and Safety personnel to ensure the smooth operation of our plant and production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in our facility.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues, using your knowledge of electrical systems and equipment to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Collaborate with our maintenance team to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring that all work is completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, maintenance, and inspections, to ensure accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification in electrical maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including circuit analysis, wiring, and electrical codes.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
