Job Overview

The Final Assembly Technician collaborates with a dedicated team to finalize the assembly of coolers, ensuring they meet customer specifications and are ready for delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble cooler components by hand.
  • Utilize hand and power tools for assembling parts and completing the final product.
  • Interpret blueprints, work orders, or schematics to effectively plan and execute tasks.
  • Conduct testing and disassembly of assemblies prior to shipment.
  • Operate manlifts and cranes as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • 6 months to 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Mechanical aptitude is essential.
  • Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Capable of working in confined spaces.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights of up to 6 feet.
  • Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch as necessary.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination is required.
  • Commitment to safety and maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Ability to identify and manage defective items appropriately.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Capacity to perform repetitive tasks, including standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Adhere to Job Safety Analysis (JSA), work instructions, and utilize designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Take pride in the quality of work and the final product.
  • Execute other related tasks as assigned.
