Position Summary
This role involves becoming a key member of a seasoned team focused on engine systems and module integration, aimed at conceptualizing and developing the next generation of commercial aircraft engines.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with major airframe manufacturers to establish requirements and specifications.
- Navigate through design iterations to finalize comprehensive engine proposals.
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams to envision, design, and enhance new technologies and engine architectures for future GE Aviation commercial aircraft engines.

Operational Autonomy
This position offers moderate independence, necessitating a high degree of operational judgment.

Roles and Duties
- Oversee component and product integration, ensuring optimal performance and operability across multiple components.
- Manage product and system requirements, specifications, and their flow down.
- Drive validation and verification processes for the overall product/system, including system-level testing.
- Define product requirements for modules, components, and subcontractor teams.
- Facilitate interfaces between components and execution teams, managing critical quality and risk assessments.
- Maintain overall product configuration and configuration control systems.

Expertise Development
- Cultivate specialized knowledge within your discipline and serve as a quality resource.
- Stay informed about the latest technical advancements in your area of expertise.

Decision-Making
- Utilize judgment to address moderately complex tasks or challenges in operational management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering.
- Employ technical experience for data analysis to support informed recommendations.

Collaboration and Leadership
- Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and may lead small projects with moderate risks and resource needs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Aerospace Engine Engineering Design and/or systems integration.

Preferred Attributes
- Master's degree from an accredited institution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to analyze and resolve issues, lead projects, and execute programs effectively.
