Responsibilities

  • Lead new product development initiatives, driving the creation of cutting-edge chemical formulations that exceed customer expectations.
  • Maintain quality control and assurance for existing products, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Stay abreast of the latest regulatory changes and technological advancements, focusing on EPA registration for hard surface disinfectants and sanitizers.
  • Conduct in-depth research, develop, test, and refine product formulas using professional judgment and technical expertise.
  • Draft and review laboratory reports, standard operating procedures, and safety documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to environmental health standards.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Expertise in chemical testing processes and methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with sales staff and customers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software applications.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a laboratory setting, requiring prolonged periods of standing and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable handling chemicals and compounds, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
