Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Pali Momi Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. About the Role

In this position, you will analyze, review, and report testing results, recognizing when corrective action is needed and implementing effective solutions. You will work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards, championing safety, compliance, and quality control.

The ideal candidate will possess strong reading, writing, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to operate general laboratory equipment. A Bachelor's Degree in medical technology or a related science from an accredited program is required, along with current and active certification from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or the American Medical Technologist (AMT).

Key Responsibilities

This role involves performing routine and complex analytical tests on human body fluids and tissues, analyzing and reviewing testing results, and reporting findings. You will also recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions, working in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards. Additionally, you will champion safety, compliance, and quality control, ensuring the highest standards of care for patients.
