Job Summary: Under the direction of the Pharmacy Supervisor and clinical pharmacist, this role supports pharmacy operations by preparing medication, handling controlled substances, and providing customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital setting and be certified as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities include:
  • Picking, delivering, and refilling medications for automated dispensing machines.
  • Preparing unit dose medication and compounded preparations according to protocols.
  • Supporting customers outside the pharmacy department.
  • Transferring inventory items between locations.


Requirements include:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Registration as a Pharmacy Technician in Massachusetts and national certification.
  • Advanced certifications or a certificate program demonstrating advanced competency are highly preferred.
